As a food lover and loves recently learning baking at my own pace. The “burnt” term sounds not too good in sharing your food services to everyone as well as in travel. However, not all “burnt” has to be “burnt” in its texture, which means you don’t have enough cooking skills to share it with everyone to taste your signature cuisine, baked goods, etc. Today let me share one of the trending cheesecake recipes, Burnt Basque Cheesecake: Good Food On The Go PH, since the quarantine period last year 2020.
Burnt Basque Cheesecake made all food lovers go wild in their creativity in taking their quarantine time more timely and fun while at home. The procedure is a bit easy if you follow the instructions of every content creators out there. (I also want to learn how to do it. lol) So for now, Let’s do the food review of Burnt Basque Cheesecake of Good Food On The Go PH.
The Origin of Burnt Basque Cheesecake
Did you know that Burnt Basque Cheesecake is also called “Tarta de Queso” in Spanish, meaning the recipe originated in San Sebastian, the Basque region in Spain? That’s why it sounds familiar when I heard it for the first time. Filipinos didn’t let go of not trying this kind of recipe dessert. As they join the most trending cheesecake recipe in the country, many want to taste it.
Unlike another baking process, they purposely burnt cheesecakes with creamy mustard and caramelized crust. Due to its popularity, you can find it anywhere in each country around the world.

OVERALL FOOD REVIEW
Upon receiving the delivery, Good Food On The Go PH, I fell in love with the package because it was intact properly with no air resistance that would wipe out the cheesecake’s moisture and doesn’t tear up from their shop location upon transporting. Also, I notice that they were promoting sustainability with their tin can package that you can use as a mini food storage bin or reusable container at home, even in other daily personal essentials. They own the Cheesecake-In-A-Can concept that you would love if you are into a zero-waste lifestyle.
Customer Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
They offer an affordable price starting at ₱420.00 until ₱520.00. Besides, it was a lot cheaper than other cheesecakes I ever tasted.
I love the combination of the ingredients in their recipe. I received Ms. Vali’s Chocolate Hershey’s with Almonds Cheesecake. I love the plating and overall topping as I have been a fan of Hershey’s since high school. (Who wouldn’t love it too, right?) However, all I tasted is cheesecake with a bit of salty flavor, Of course. Maybe, it was because of the whole food processing that I still preferred the creamy and jiggly texture kind of cheesecake rather than in-store in the refrigerator for long hours.
Foodie Tip: It is a lot better to eat this with side dishes during your meal and have one cup of iced coffee or fresh lemonade juice, mango juice, and orange juice).
It is also better to consume it upon delivery. You can slice it up to 5-8 slices depends on your choice.
But don’t worry, food tasting is also very personal! (I know, everyone has different taste buds) So overall rating, it was still great! I would love to try out their bestseller blueberry cheesecake next for birthday occasions. So why not try it out on your special events or quarantine cravings during the weekend.
