It’s the very first time to be invited to a fashion show press conference and I’m sure proud of joining this event. I’m always been in love with fashion as you could see in my photos. Fashion has always been part of me. Maybe I could also flaunt my outfit in the Catwalk runaway soon! Anyways, Let me share what is going to happen in Catwalk: Philippines Fashion Revolution 2019
Last Thursday, September 12, 2019, Catwalk Runaway Concept held a press conference for the upcoming very first & most prestigious fashion show of the year which is Philippines Fashion Revolution. The said event was produced by Lynn Bentsen Talent & Fashion Academy. The whole concept is really interesting because it features both local and international 120 runway models and 60 local designers to come up with showcasing their artistic passion and now ready to rock the runway wearing Philippine weaves & fabrics.
The whole concept is Catwalk. When you heard the word itself, it definitely has to do with modeling. That’s right, Modeling. As many say modeling is not only in outside look particularly but with style and confidence on how you present yourself to the world. Maybe I’m lacking in that part. Haha. I’m always been wanting to achieve that simple goal “to walk with confidence in runway” even having self-doubt is quite stressful. Despite that, I still believe that we all born to be a natural human that can achieve the goal we always wanted. So, keep fighting and never lose hope. Start being a role model rather than model.
Along the mini-event
During the press con, They briefly presented the few male and female models best catwalk for the upcoming fashion show, in addition, they exhibit the different clothing styles like casual wear, swimwear and lastly semi-formal wear.
There are so many female models that really turned up my fangirling. The shape of their body is just really perfect than mine. Maybe, I need to work out a lot first to have that body goal. Look out for it.
This fashion show is a 2-day event on Sept 22-23 at SMX Convention Center, SM Aura, Taguig City.
The said event isn’t only about local fashion styles but also delivers the greater impact of using Philippine textiles (cloth weaving) in modern fashion today. In addition, this is a good start to show the beautiful textiles around the world because Fashion doesn’t rely much on the designs, process but how it can be a greater part in art of living.
Soon, the world will be able to see the beauty of local weaving in modern fashion style. Some of the fashion designers are: Nina Corpuz, Ole Morabe, Pencil Diestra, Peter Lim, Pat Santos and many more.
